Mike Petro is the Founder and CEO of the The Creative Group. Mike graduated from Mentor High School in 1987. At a young age, Mike grew a strong passion for millworks and cabinetry. For over 30 years, Mike has sustained and managed a hardworking environment and has created long lasting relationships with our clients. Mike demonstrates humility, integrity, and leadership.
Carla Petro has been with the company since its inception. She has worked alongside with Mike Petro. Her technical skills, leadership qualities, and assertive behavior have assisted the Creative Group to get to where it is today.
Christine Corwin is the CFO of the Creative Construction Group. Christine has earned her BSBA from John Carroll University, MSA (Masters of Science in Accounting) from Kaplan University, and is also an accounting professor at Lakeland Community College. With over 20 years experience with accounting and finance, Christine ensures that every number is checked and everything balances.
John Skiba is our Controller. John has earned three degrees from Lakeland Community College that include ABA Business, AAS Accounting, and AAS Finance, along with Applied Arts. John has worked in Finance for over 20 years and has been with The Creative Group for over 10 years. John keeps all records in check and stabilizes a healthy financial position.
Chris Wallace is our Construction Manager. Chris earned his Bachelors in Business Administration from Cleveland State in 2006. With over 15 years experience within construction, Chris has explored numerous fields and understands the trades like no other. Chris will go to any extent to make sure that any construction project is done to perfection and as efficiently as possible.
Vincent Petro received his Bachelors in Business Adminsistration in 2020 from Ohio University. Vince is combing new technology with old fashion craftsmanship. Vince is operating a CNC machine with G-Code programming, creating all new Information and Processing Systems, and partaking in design, fabrication, and construction projects; and developed the website. Vince works hard and with a positive attitude.
Daniela DeNigris is our Industrial / Interior Designer. Graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from The Cleveland Institute of Art and with over 20 years experience in the design industry, Daniela is the one that brings to life your ideas. With her patience and cooperation, Daniela will go to any extent to ensure that your ideas become a visual reality.
Carrie Edwards is our Senior Interior Designer. Prior to working with The Creative Design Group, Carrie was a designer at Progressive Insurance. Graduating with a Bachelors in the Arts from Ursuline College and over 25 years experience with the design industry, Carrie’s attention to detail will ensure that all aspects of space plan drawings, construction documents, and specifications are created properly so that spaces are built to the client's desired outcomes.
Mike Castiglione is our Production Manager. Graduating from Mentor High School in 1992, Mike has over 25 years experience with the production, installation, and construction of millworks and cabinetry work. Ensuring that every product is made efficiently with the highest quality and ensuring excellence, is what “Stiggs” strives for each and every day.
Bret Stricker is our Senior Carpenter and Installer. Bret graduated from Mentor High School in 2008. Bret has worked with the company for 5 years and carries himself with a lot of pride with his work. Whether it be working in the shop with millworks or being out onsite installing, Bret goes to the fullest extent that your project is done properly.
Kory is married and is the father of 5 children. Born and raised in Mentor Ohio, Kory has been with the company for several years. Kory has been in construction for over 30 years and has an incredible passion for producing high quality work. Kory is a valuable lead installer and has consistently completed complex projects with a can-do attitude.
Jim Dziemianzuk recently joined the Creative Group after working in the automotive industry for over 40 years. Jim’s mechanical contributions and his interest in working in the millworks field, make him a perfect fit for our group of fabricators.
